Laura Linney
Laura Linney was born in New York, New York on February 5, 1964. She is an American actor best known for her ability to portray tough characters, but also at risk. Linney is from a theatre heritage, her father is the playwright Romulus Linney. In 1986, she received her degree from Brown University. She then pursued a degree in Theatre at Arts Theatre School Moscow before graduating from Juilliard School with a M.F.A. New York City 1990. Her first appearance was on Broadway, earning accolades for her performances in roles like Six Degrees of Separation or Hedda Galer.
